Forged emails appear to be sent from a legitimate Yahoo email address even though they aren't, and are used to spread spam and other types of malicious phishing scams. Once these new standards are adopted, any email campaigns sent with those email addresses in the "From" line will require that AWeber send your campaigns from an alternate email address. Yahoo might be willing to cause some disruption for the users legitimately sending outside of their system in favor of protecting those who didn't even know that was possible. It’s very difficult for the average user to recognize the difference between a legitimate email and a forged one.
