got the av.exe virus, found it and deleted it and then after that couldnt open any .exes. After attempting, (and failing), to install either of these apps, if you head over to XP's Event Viewer, (Start > Run, type in eventvwr.msc and click OK), and look at the Skip navigation UploadSign inSearch Loading... I installed it via a link Microsoft gave me post-sale. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/279736 indicates this is for Windows ME - do you think it will apply for Windows XP too? right click it again, and start the service.... A guy scammed me, but he gave me a bank account number & routing number.
