Cannot Reboot Xp In Safe Mode
The PC whirrs, meaning it is doing something but it isn’t starting up. There's an option in the well-known System Configuration utility that will let you force Windows to always boot into Safe mode… until you turn the option off. It is a looping restart that ends up at a white screen then restarts. Then you press and hold the power button till the computer shutdown ( or take out the battery or power cord) to cut the comp's power unsuspectingly. weblink
