Also, the *.WMDB files were locked, had to issue before deleting first these: taskkill /F /IM ehshell.exe taskkill /F /IM ehtray.exe net stop /y WMPNetworkSvc Tazz3L Thank you! Thanks. CindyH I was able to delete all the .wmdb files EXCEPT the CurrentDatabase_360.wmdb.

and finally something to fix it… i gave up the first like 2 weeks but decided to tackle it again today…. Not sure why WMP didn't work properly but it behaved badly right from the start. it plays files fine but just wont let me save playlists which is quite annoying, ive deleted everything out that folder but the problems still there, i dont know what to I just finished tagging ALL of my songs with album art (7200 of them) and want WMP to recognize this art instead of it's stupid 200×200 art. after searching and rebooting i havent found why i could not save music but now wow just wow u saved me !!! I cant add any files to my media library.
