The syntax used to delete a service is this: sc delete ServiceName If your service name has spaces in it, you'll need to wrap the service name in quotes, like this: Solution 2 worked perfectly. This is the first fix I found that did the job. But I'm not an advanced user, and I feel I have never (at least deliberately) tampered with any services so far. November 23, 2010 Donnie The way I've always gotten to Services is through the "Computer Management" console, just by right-clicking "My Computer" or "Computer" from the Start Menu and selecting "Manage"… Don't suppose anyone has a simple solution to my problem that won't require me to reinstall W7?
