It sounds like there isn't support for the Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter. If I disconnect anything I lose it and have to start all over creating a hotspot anew. It's Windows 8.1 and thanks to agreat introduction videothe transition was quite nice. Not the answer you're looking for?

FYI, you wouldnt need to do any googling at all in order to share your internet connection from a windows phone. The only option then, I thought, seemed to be, by using the netsh utility. At this point you’ll be able to share files between machines.
