If so you may not have dmraid installed. But at the very least I can now confirm that using the windows 7 ultimate (64bit) install does not make any difference. If the volume must be Dynamic, place a check mark by that drive/array and Click 'Next'. I ran into a similar scenario with a Server 2012 R2 install (basically the same as 8.1), and it was due to the driver.
