September 19, 2012 at 3:08 pm I guess I have been lucky enough to not have system restore not work....If I did have a problem I would just use a backup Always have backups, always save after every change, always use Dropbox (or something similar) to save previous... So don't count on System Restore as working like a backup. So, as a desktop tech manager, I always tell my techs to use it as a troubleshooting tool to see what may have changed. his explanation
