Attempting to delete them results in "Error Deleting File or Folder - Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk". The cable connections were fine (Tks Lisa Santika Onggrid). Thank you again for your help. It seems like MS Windows has locked the outlook.pst file in some way.
The unlocker worked flawlessly and got rid of a folder that ended with a space.
