Cannot Read From The Source File Or Disk Delete
Long story short, I could not delete the torrent files from the desktop. Elevated Sky December 10. 2008 11:19 I actually tried this and it didn't work. This is no longer locate… 2013-0722 Windows: Error: Cannot read from the source file or disk, Could not find this item. I have performed following troubleshooting steps 1) CHKDSK on my C: drive, but no luck. 2) Windows repair 'chkdsk /r' but file still exists. It was also a "buddy file" for a word doc that I received from a correspondant on a mac. the size is zero.i keep getting msgs like this when in dos:1. I spent hours trying to delete a crappy file with no success, until I found this method. Unstoppable Copier Worked for me. I also inherited a bunch of these files & directories and they were a major eye sore.
Every time I type the command in DOS I get could not find and I have absolutely no idea how to add the \\?\ prefix to the path.
