The thing that worked was turning off all firewalls and virus software. Since you've tried this and it worked, it means the problem is with the permissions you've got set up/configured. I can see all computers in the network from workstations but can not access server! (Only 3 computers on the network) On the server, I cannot see the other 2 computers! Follow the instructions to see if it's on. Make sure it isn't disabled, if it is set it on automatic and then hit "start" and then you should see that computer on the network. If these are installed correctly, then move on to the next check. I used to see both computers from my wireless and the transfer of files was effortless. The second bit of strangeness is the only item appearing in My Network Places is my router which has never appeared there before and, from what I gather, shouldn't be.
