Sorry for the hassle of a simple solution. When i try to connect via run->\\12.345.67.8 i get an error saying path not found. It's working now. As I live in a rental and using my landlord's wifi and he's away for the long weekend so I cannot ask him till Tuesday.

When the computer was reinstalled everything got wiped out and there may be services that are not running now.
