i waited at least a half an hour on hold with mediacom and spoke with someone in tech support for an hour, then my cell phone died. However, that may not be the only reason why an ipconfig /renew would not work. If so, it could be a problem with the router assigning IP addresses and it would be easiest to reset the router. I have also gotten the wireless USB device that is used on it everyday. On my Westell Model 6100 I have a solid POWER and DSL light. If running a firewall turn it off temporarily to see if that is causing the issue. What do I do?
