Enter your range using the format p#s#-p#s#. My 3rd section, as far as I am concerned, shows Page 10 Sec 69 as the first entry. Word starts printing all of the pages before I cancel the print job. I thought I'd take the opportunity to talk about the finer (possibly more obscure) points of printing ranges in Microsoft Word 2010.

I know that this is achievable on a .doc in Word 2010 because I've created a blank .doc in which the Pages option is not grayed out.
You may have used sections for breaking a document, for example, between chapters or between say introductory material and the main text. The problem with Print Selection is that it does not print the header/footer. Brilliant!! You actually want to print the page range as indicated in the page footer, i.e. p1s1-p1s3 (you could also just indicate the sections you want as s1-s3). Click Print. Short, to the point, and correct.
