For troubleshooting, I've moved the SyncedRules.plist file from the MailData folder and Mail isn't creating a new file. Click on the certificate 7. Compose a new email and add your own address in the "To" field. Pulling stunts like this reminds me of the reason why. get redirected here

Laptop (10.10.4) no longer works with sending email through work server; iPhone (8.4) no longer sends emails via hotmail - a bad series of system updates.

Anyone? Useful and fast remedy. and it's driving me mad. for the longest time Mail has acted funky with both Mavericks and Yosemite.
Hope this helps someone who is new to Mac OS! That did not let me stay with Mavericks.
