At this time, I have not really worked with the DIR-827 DLNA server as of yet.

Having 2 routers on the same line can cause connection problems.-I just discovered the feature see my above update, so far so goodSome things to try:Ensure DNS IP addresses are being If you are using a Guest LAN for wifi then that guest vlan will not be reachable to the local wired vlan. Is it on? Advanced/QoS or Gamefuel.Turn off Advanced DNS Services if you have this option under Setup/Internet/Manual.Turn on DNS Relay under Setup/Networking.Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices on the router.
However, my UPNP devices aren't always discoverable on the network. I've mapped a drive to the NAS on my Windows 7 laptop and this works fine- The Naimuniti and the Xtreamer also can see the NAS and stream music/video etc. What are your favorite UPNP clients apart from BubbleUPNP on Android. when I click the radio button to turn it on, I am asked for permission, I grant permission, and then nothing happens,, network discovery is still set to off..
Windows assigns enabled Network Discovery in Home, Work or Domain network location (as Private network profile), which the network connection is placed into when you chose to turn on sharing and If it is not, enable multicast and hopefully that will fix your issue. For example, if your network card's address is 172.16.0.25, if you use the command: Code: telnet 172.16.0.25 9090 What happens?
I have Serviio set up on a PC on the network that every other device on the network can see, except the OSMC.
The "restrict access" box is NOT ticked.I have previously "fiddled" with the SSDP ad interval, and it is currently set to 300 secs.It looks like to me like this is well I also tried adding a route I found online, using the following command: Code: route add -net 22.214.171.124 netmask 255.0.0.0 p10p1 (p10p1 is my NIC) Anything else I can try or Join Forum | Login | Today's Posts | Tutorials | Windows 10 Forum | Windows 8 Forum Welcome to Windows 7 Forums. Top Bill R I'm New! Or is there other software installed on an RPI? (other than some sort of bootstrap) ActionA - Sorry I was unaware of the need for (or existence of) debug enabled log Everything used to work fine, but I just noticed the UPnP on my desktop seems broken. I don't know what else to try.

I have a few upnp devices on my home network - A Netgear NAS Duo, a Naimuniti, and an Xtreamer Media player. As part of that, I have shuffled my (fixed) local IP addresses around a bit.
Click on DMA Compatibility on the left and then click the Device List button on the bottom. In whatever cases, you can always enable or disable Network Discovery for each of the Network Location regardless of their predefined state. I had tried the three most recent builds of OSMC and none of them could see Serviio, or indeed anything else on the network. A favourite for this is network blocking by router.
