But then I saw there is an Asus dedicated section, so I thought I should post it here too. Thanks Paul.Your suggested fix worked for me too. On re-boot at the end of the process, I got the englarged font on the plain blue background that said, "Cannot open the volume for direct access - Windows has finished I have just finished defragging. (Old School Stuff) Hope it works for you.
