Can I hide disabled users in the User Manager? The only other approach I can think of is to abuse suEXEC's mod_userdir integration and somehow rewrite the requests to a user directory, but this is unlikely to work well. http://fortecrm.net/cannot-run/cannot-run-as-forbidden-uid-fcgi.html
I'm not even aware that I set up suexec. How should horizontal dashboard numbers react on a responsive page? Not the answer you're looking for? Is all this different with etch?Click to expand...

Second I have a Question: I think ispconfig did not set the Group and the User correct for the webs after patching the config.lib.php. I don't know if it works with standard suexec, I would guess it doesn't because apache runs as www-data and the fcgi-starter is owned by root. Right now, I'm a little uncomfortable with hard-coding things like /home/username into the httpd.conf--if the username ever changes (through Virtualmin), will all occurrences be updated?
Generally, this kind of change is I would be interested in that too!
How difficult is it to practically detect a forgery in a cryptosystem? When apache starts, it gives this error: [Mon Mar 25 12:37:37 2013] [warn] FastCGI: server "/opt/rt4/sbin/rt-server.fcgi" (uid 48, gid 48) restarted (pid 1504) suexec policy violation: see suexec log for more That file looks like this after I added the two lines: [code:1]... There is also a similar commercial version of Suexec from 1H Ltd, but this isn't open source and I think that's a GPL infringement. As for how to automate converting all existing sites? Also, I wonder if I should do these steps with each and every virtual server account so that the PHP scripts won't be broken? http://serverfault.com/questions/386335/mod-vhost-alias-suexec-auto-selecting-uid-gid Just the switching from the UI will be missing. Should I install some packages in addition to the installation of Virtualmin? I'm glad to hear that you're working on adding an interface to this to the GPL version.
However, you can update it individually for each existing website by first choosing the domain in question, then choosing Server Configuration -> Website Options, and modifying "PHP script execution mode". -Eric

Oh well currently there's no more sarge but etch out there. Changing permissions of the vhost root (/var/www/webX) to 750 allows only the owner and group members to access any content of the web site. Debian 5 just began making suexec a bit simpler to work with -- first, what does this output: /usr/lib/apache2/suexec -V And then, if you're using Debian 5, rather than recompiling, suexec click site So solution found: Dont use Windows!
