Is there anyway to get a release with out sl4 that we can test? It said it did not apply. After adding System.Data.SqlClient the following error occures, MSBUILD : DNX 4.5.1 error CS1703: Multiple assemblies with equivalent identity have been imported: '' and ''. So by some reasons it is trying to use v2.0.50727\mscorwks.dll loader to load the Version=188.8.131.52 of System.dll. The complete post is on the Github site. The problem is that dependencies of the package won't be copied. Turns out the new package only supports net46, so that's why it doesn't work on net451.
Regarding your question about fix, as of now I am not planning to do any fix here.
