If you have scanned the drive in question and found it to be sound, you can go into the backup job and I believe it is in the advanced options and Backup of d-drive to internal harddrive 3. The 'snapshot' process was interrupted before the backup process could complete. I believe this error is referring to the source of the backup (your C drive in other words), not the target. RodFranklin, I highly recommend running chkdsk /r on the external drive to check for any possible disk errors. Please provide any system configuration information you can.

If you think about it, it would be very unlikely that SSR can spot bad sectors while imaging the partition to an internal drive but never complain when you image the Ok. .. The System Recover is fully pathed through liveupdate. I have to mirror this computers internal drive before I make an important, but potentially problematic install.
