I have a feeling that maybe it isn't compatible with Vista, but at the same time, I've used it before, though not thru USB. Exactly. I am going to try and clean out whatever previous information the registry has about this printer. http://fortecrm.net/cannot-print/cannot-print-in-vista.html Assuming it had a compatible Vista driver then it should.
If the driver is not vista compatible vista wont be able to do anything from it no matter if the computer says "correctly installed" (I had the same from a Lexmark But every time I try to print it doesn't work. Anyways jd, thanks for all the help & info.
verifying the spooler service is not dependant on a non existant or broken applications service entry and return the spooler registry values to default.
I have no other printers installed and the port is set to USB....the printer is detected as I already stated. I wouldn't want to give up yet though I don't really have any more ideas on that problem at the moment. Thank you. Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post.

No, your computer will not show in any lists or share any files or printers while it's off. If I plug my printer into my laptop it prints fine.
