Off-late couple of systems in the DMZ are not able to ping any outside ip addresses and browse Intenet. The thread suggests that maybe pfSense doesn't always clean-up config-changes, so I went with a clean-install. My problem is I can't get the web admin interface up. After restarting IPCop I am now able to ping my ISP's = domain (telstra.net & telstra.com), but I cannot ping anything outside their domain.
What happens if, on that system, you attempt to ping the host identified in the link? (Please report the system response, not an interpretation of it.)
