This is my first attempt at compiling anything, so I dont claim to have done it correctly. If your configuration is only compatible with OpenVPN 2.2 you should change the OpenVPN version under Preferences->Advanced.2. Therefore, kernel modules such as tun will not work. The OpenVPN subsystem could not be started. Is there another openvpn process running? Changed the =y to =m (I believe this just tells the compiler to compile TUN/TAP as a module rather than build it in to the kernel. have a peek here You will need your provider to enable them for you.

This is very odd considering I am building from the source that UDOO have given me, so it should be the _same_, right?
I'm tempted to delete /dev/tun* on the machine that doesn't work.
