If as it appears, user security was set up when this db was created, you will need to find the original mdw file which was associated with the file. I will be see if I can get the client to replace the file as described and see if that works. You mention this is an A2007 file but are you opening it with A2007 or A2003 since they are both installed which engine is trying to open it?Chris Ward Wednesday, April My suggestion would be to look for a system.mdb file that has 0 bytes and delete it (after a backup of it of course).
