How did you generate your ".mypgcpprc"? No need to Google it. On my 64 bit machine, stubs.h (which he has) is in libc6-dev, while stubs-32.h (which he doesn't) is in libc6-dev-i386. Where can I find the required rpm file ?

Last time I tried this, I worked around it by setting "LIBTOOL = libtool". The versions of gcc packaged with CentOS 6 have internal errors when trying to compile some software packages such as the Healpy software. Compiling from source seems to be the safest way since the control provided by source prevents interference with my system installation.
